Circle Harvest’s Cricket Corn Chips Launch In Australian Schools

September 13, 2022: 12:00 AM EST
Circle Harvest will introduce its Cricket Corn Chips to school canteens across Victoria, Australia. Each 50g pack contains 5g of environmentally friendly protein as well as B12, iron, amino acids, and omega 3. Circle Harvest’s chips come in three flavors: Lightly Salted, Saltbush & Rosemary, and Smokey BBQ. This year, Circle Harvest began selling its chips in school canteens across NSW, Queensland, SA, and WA. By the end of term 1 next year, the company expects to be in 6,000 schools. Circle Harvest has also started working with nursing homes on introducing insect-based proteins, which are easier to digest and can be part of smaller meals that many older people prefer.
