Coca-Cola India Has Prospered Under Outgoing Head

Coca-Cola’s volume sales in India increased by 176 million cases over past four years, as profit surged 40 percent, market share gained eight percent, according to Venkatesh Kini, outgoing president for India and South-West Asia markets. Kini is being replaced by T. Krishnakumar, CEO of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., company-owned bottling unit. Coca-Cola India has put more focus on non-carbonated beverages like milk-based Vio and coconut water product Zico over last two years.
