Food & Beverage Start-Ups Expanding Into Convenience Channels

Better-for-you food and beverage start-ups are expanding from grocery channels to the convenience store sector as a means of building brand loyalty. Companies including Solely, Catalina Crunch and Olipop have invested in single-serve and to-go formats, with revenue increases already being realized. Some of these start-ups are targeting tried-and-tested stores like 7-Eleven and Circle K, while others are identifying opportunities in food service, hospitality and checkout stands.
