Fusion Of Croissant With Bread Debuts In U.K.

October 19, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
British retailer Marks & Spencer has unveiled a union of the croissant and a loaf of bread dubbed the croloaf. The company says it’s practical because the croloaf is made with an all-butter pastry that keeps well for a few days. Each slice of the “perfect fusion of French and British breakfast” contains 114 calories. The croloaf retails at about $3.00.
