Goodmills Innovation Develops Snack Ingredient That Promotes Healthy Immune System

July 21, 2020: 12:00 AM EST
The wheat germ concentrate introduced by German joint venture GoodMills Innovation, allows bakery and snack producers to capitalize on consumer demand for holistic wellbeing. SpermidinEVO is rich in spermidine, a polyamine compound found in ribosomes and living tissues that supports the self-cleaning process (autophagy) in cells and is linked to a healthy immune system. During autophagy, old and superfluous cell components, as well as harmful invaders such as viruses, are broken down and recycled. SpermidinEVO also contains folic acid and vitamin E, considered to be a classic anti-aging ingredient. GoodMills Innovation (Hamburg, Germany) is a joint venture between European milling enterprise, the GoodMills Group, and Danish food emulsifier and stabilizer manufacturer Palsgaard[Image Credit: © Shutterbug75 from Pixabay]
