Maine Crisp Opens New Facility And Shows Redesigned Packaging

November 28, 2022: 12:00 AM EST
Maine Crisp, an artisanal snack-maker, opened a new production and retail location as well new packaging in October. The products use naturally gluten-free buckwheat. The company was established in 2014 and launched with one flavor, Cranberry Almond. It now has four, including the vegan Savory Fig & Thyme variant. Although distribution has begun, the products in the new packaging might not be on the shelves for several weeks. The new 17,000 sq.ft. space will support the brand’s expansion plans and offers co-packing for other gluten-free food startups. A gluten-free retail space will open to the public next year, selling Maine Crisp products and those from other Maine producers.
