Proper Says Sales Surpass Expectations So Far In 2020, Despite Pandemic

The U.K.’s largest independent snack brand posted 25 percent year-on-year growth for FY2019 with revenue of £15.9 million ($20.6 million) and expects continued prosperity this year. The company changed its name from Propercorn in 2019 when it expanded beyond popcorn to become a broader better-for-you snacks business. Besides various palm oil-free microwave popcorn offerings, made with shea and rapeseed oils and available in sweet, salted, and cinnamon flavors, the company is now selling five flavors of gluten-free, vegan lentil chips.[Image Credit: © PROPER]
