Purely Launches Plantain Chips In UK

Plantain chip producer Purely will launch on UK shelves at Co-Op, Ocado, Holland & Barrett and WHSmith. Purely’s plantain chips are made from sustainably sourced plantains, grown and produced by small plantation farmers in Ecuador. The plantains are kettle cooked in sunflower oil and contain 30 percent less fat than traditional potato chips. Purely’s plantain chips are available in 28g snack packs and 75g sharing bags in three flavors: Sea Salt, Wild Garlic, and Nice & Spicy.
