Snacks Drive Strong Sales In The US, Flavor Remains Top Priority For Consumers

Spac International’s 2023 State of the Snacking Industry Report reveals snacks account for 27 percent of food and beverage sales in the US.  Savory snacks generate $58.3 billion in sales, while sweet snacks account for $30.4 billion. The report also finds that flavor remains the top priority for consumers, surpassing factors like better-for-you and sustainability. Additionally, Spac International reports that 70 percent of consumers express a willingness to try new and unique snack options.
