Hershey To Acquire 2 Popcorn Plants

Hershey has signed an agreement to acquire two manufacturing plants in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Whitestown, Indiana from popcorn giant Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing. The acquisition aims to sustain growth for Hershey’s SkinnyPop brand by strengthening its internal supply chain capabilities and its network of strategic suppliers and co-manufacturers.

Doves Farm has secured its first major online retail listing for its organic and plant-based breakfast cereals with Ocado. Nestlé Cereals has created an interactive metaverse experience called the Nestlé Cereals Metaclub, hosted on Decentraland. Through the Metaclub, Nestlé aims to engage with younger audiences in the Middle East and educate them on sustainability issues. It will feature 10 virtual attractions, bringing together access to sustainability themed online challenges, NFTs with real life rewards, and a digital Anghami lounge featuring specially curated playlists with free Anghami Plus subscriptions.
